Asset Library
Use KinoViz built-in 3D models, TextFX presets, icons, and the music library, and upload your own images, video, and 3D models within your plan's limits.
Overview
The Asset Library gives you access to built-in 3D models, TextFX presets, vector icons, and your own uploaded assets — all usable directly in your KinoViz projects.
Open the Asset Library by clicking the Library icon in the left toolbar.
3D Model Library
KinoViz includes a built-in collection of free, royalty-free GLB models optimized for browser rendering.
Browsing Models
- In the Asset Library, click 3D Models.
- Browse by category or use the search bar to find a model by name.
- Click a model thumbnail to preview it.
- Click Add to Canvas to insert the model into your project.
Advanced 3D assets (premium library models) are available on Pro and Studio plans only. Free plan users have access to the free-tier model selection.
See 3D System for details on editing materials and animating 3D models.
Background Gradients
The Background tab holds animated gradient backgrounds — 22 gradient types across 3 families (Fields, Strips, Objects), shown as 66 preset cards with family filters and search.
- In the Asset Library, click Background.
- Filter by family or search by name.
- Click a card to add the gradient — it fills the canvas and drops to the bottom of the layer list.
Every gradient is browsable, editable, and previewable on all plans; your plan is only checked when you export. See Gradient Backgrounds for the full type list, the gradient editor, keyframing, and which gradients each plan can export.
TextFX Presets
TextFX presets are pre-built text animation sequences. The library includes 40+ presets across five categories.
Preset Categories
| Category | Presets | Available on |
|---|---|---|
motion_basic | fadeIn, fadeOut, scaleUp, scaleDown | All plans |
typewriter | Character, word, and line reveal | All plans |
motion_advanced | slideUp/Down, bounceIn/Out, elasticIn/Out | Pro+ |
vector | draw, drawFade, drawReverse (SVG stroke) | Pro+ |
svg_advanced | svgDraw, svgStagger, svgFill, svgWave | Pro+ |
Applying a TextFX Preset
- Select a text element on the canvas.
- In the Asset Library, click TextFX.
- Hover over a preset to preview it.
- Click the preset to apply it to the selected element.
The applied preset creates keyframes in the timeline which you can edit.
Icon Library
The icon library provides SVG icons in multiple styles (outline, filled, duotone).
Using Icons
- Open the Asset Library and click Icons.
- Search by name or browse by category.
- Click an icon to add it as an Image element on the canvas.
Premium 2D vector assets (
allVectorAssets) are available on Pro and above. Free plan users have access to the free-tier icon selection.
Icons are added as SVG files and scale without quality loss. Change their color using the Fill property in the Properties Panel.
Music Library
The music library provides royalty-free background audio tracks for your animations. The music library is available on all plans, including Free.

Browse starter templates from the Dashboard when creating a new project. Templates are fully editable — replace text, swap images, and adjust colors to match your brand.
