How to create a KinoViz account via email or OAuth, verify your email, manage your profile, reset your password, and delete your account.
Creating Your Account
KinoViz requires no software installation. Sign up at kinoviz.com/sign-up and start creating in your browser immediately.
Sign-Up Methods
KinoViz supports three ways to create an account:

| Email / Password | Enter your email and choose a password. A verification email is sent before certain actions are unlocked. |
| Authorize KinoViz in the Google OAuth flow. Account is active immediately. | |
| GitHub | Authorize KinoViz in the GitHub OAuth flow. Account is active immediately. |
OAuth sign-ups (Google / GitHub) do not require a separate email verification step.
Email Verification
If you sign up with an email address and password, KinoViz sends a verification link to your inbox after registration.
- Open your inbox and find the email from KinoViz.
- Click the verification link.
- You are redirected back to your dashboard.
Did not receive the email? Check your spam or junk folder. If it is still missing, go to Settings → Account and resend the verification email.
Profile Settings
After signing in, access your profile from the avatar menu in the top-right corner.
What You Can Edit
- Display name — Shown in team workspaces and shared projects.
- Email address — Changing your email triggers a new verification step.
- Password — Available only for email/password accounts (not OAuth).
Password Reset
If you forget your password:
- Go to kinoviz.com/sign-in and click the password reset option.
- Enter the email address associated with your account.
- Open the reset email and click the reset link.
- Enter a new password.
Password reset is only available for email/password accounts. OAuth accounts are managed through Google or GitHub.
Deleting Your Account
To permanently delete your account, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This action:
- Permanently removes all your projects and exports.
- Cancels any active subscription immediately (no refund for the remaining period).
- Cannot be undone.
Download any projects you want to keep before deleting your account.
Security Recommendations
- Use a strong, unique password.
- Do not share your account credentials — use the team workspace (Studio plan) to collaborate instead.
- Sign out of shared computers using Avatar → Sign Out.
