A pile of good photos paired with a static carousel is a wasted combination. Whether it's editing a wedding recap, creating an intro for a portfolio, previewing a new product, or posting a "featured collection," a flat grid or PPT-style fade-in/fade-out is unlikely to capture attention. Market tools often offer an either/or choice: lightweight album tools only provide fades and pans; achieving truly spatial and dynamic effects requires learning a timeline-based video editing software.

KinoViz's new Gallery Wall element fills this gap. Select one from 128 animated arrangement presets, drag in your photos, and a photo wall that rotates, assembles, and flies into place is ready, all without manually setting a single keyframe.

What is KinoViz Gallery Wall

Gallery Wall is an independent element on the canvas that automatically generates animations around your photo collection. You don't need to animate each photo individually. Choose a preset, and this preset is a complete set of pre-designed animations, dictating how photos enter, move, and exit. The preset library contains a total of 128 presets, divided into 10 categories, ranging from photos smoothly sliding like a carousel to arrangements with a 3D sense of space and constantly shifting perspectives during playback, covering a wide range of styles.

Since the Gallery Wall is a regular element, it can be directly incorporated into any KinoViz project. Overlay text, logos, or other animated elements, and then export the entire scene as a video.

Production Steps

Step 1: Open the Gallery Category

In the KinoViz editor, open the Asset Library and click the Gallery tab. You can browse by category or search directly for the effect you want.

Step 2: Add a Preset to the Canvas

Click any preset, and a Gallery Wall element with placeholder photos will appear on the canvas, allowing you to preview the animation immediately.

Step 3: Open the Sub-Editor

Double-click the Gallery Wall to enter its dedicated full-screen editor. Upload photos, adjust slots, and fine-tune the layout here.

Step 4: Upload Photos

Drag and drop images into any slot, or click a slot to select files directly. Each Gallery Wall supports 2 to 36 photos, and slots can be added or removed at any time. Photos are automatically compressed to WebP, with the longest side not exceeding 2048px, so you don't have to worry about file sizes during upload.

Step 5: Set Aspect Ratio and Duration, Export

Choose an aspect ratio—Auto (match canvas), 1:1, 4:5, 16:9, or 9:16—to match Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or your project's proportions. The loop duration can be set between 3 to 60 seconds, then export as MP4 or WebM.

Category Tour

With 128 presets, browsing by category is the quickest way to find a starting point:

  • Depth & Space (58 presets)—The largest category, focusing on 3D perspective and layered depth, making photos appear as if they exist in real space rather than on a flat plane.
  • Interactive Gallery (21 presets)—Arrangements with multiple photos that invite exploration, feeling more like entering an exhibition than watching a fixed slideshow.
  • Glide & Flow (11 presets)—Carousel-like movements where photos smoothly glide across the screen.
  • Orbit (8 presets)—Photos revolve around a center point in 3D, suitable for "display stand" type effects.
  • Tiles & Grid (8 presets)—Structured grid arrangements offering a cleaner, more editorial layout style.

The remaining categories—Toss & Stack, Stage Focus, Swipe Reveal, FX Lab, and Isometric View—cover more specific moods, from photos being "tossed" into a stack to reveal effects with individual spotlighting.

All presets can be fully previewed before deciding which one to use. Switch freely; uploaded photos are automatically retained, even if the new preset has a different number of slots.

Free Trial, Pro Unlocks Full Export

All 128 presets can be fully browsed, edited, and previewed across all plans (including Free), with no payment barrier for exploration and setup. Plan limitations only apply at the export stage: Free users can export 25 presets, while Pro and above unlock all 128. If a Gallery Wall uses a Pro preset and is exported on a lower-tier plan, KinoViz will clearly indicate which preset triggered the restriction in the upgrade prompt, eliminating guesswork.

A Faster Approach: AI Agent

If you don't want to browse through categories one by one, simply describe the desired effect in a sentence. KinoViz's AI Agent can generate a photo wall, switch presets, or adjust the loop duration for you. Let the AI get you started, and you can then manually fine-tune.

Get Started

Transforming a collection of photos into shareable content is quickest with dynamic photo walls—whether for social media compilations, wedding highlights, portfolios, or product showcases. 免费注册 Try out all 128 presets by opening the Gallery tab—no credit card required, no software installation needed.
